The Guards of Jlokhemit are the elite arm of the ZJR. Generally, only battle hardened troops are allowed in the ranks, however under certain circumstances, other troops may be admitted as well.
GoJ undergo training in traditional Nalydian hand to hand and trident fighting, along with mastering the ranged aspect of their energy tridents. They wear helmets (Klovhelm) designed to look like the head of a Tundra Wolf, the national animal, and utilize projector arrays built into their shields. The primary weapon of the Guards of Jlokhemit is the Array trident, a weapon that works as both a melee weapon and an "energy" weapon; it is linked to the projector beams system in the shield. The trident is symbolic of Jlokhemit himself, hence the name of the formations. Secondary weapon is a Yamsai Short Sword along with a pulse-pistol. |

The Yamsai'an Guard are an elite band of the best Hunters of the Great House of Yamsai. Hand picked, they maintain a status of combat excellence that is matched only by the Guards of Jlokhemit.
The Guard originally started out as the primary land arm of the Yamsai'an military in the Beboverse, however after the restructuring of the Confederation's military, they were adopted as an elite arm of the ZJR. |
"The Old Guard"
Comprised of non-Hunters and members of the old Nalydian army. Only the best formations survived being disbanded, and as such retain their name and any equipment that they wish.
Sturmgrenadier - The primary assault infantry of the Nordwehr. Their uniform is a gray tunic with same colour trousers, black boots and a black belt, along with an M2012 Stahlhelm. Underneath this uniform a barrier suit is worn. Men are also issued gray-tinted FCNA breastplates, forearm guards and knee protectors to be worn over the uniform.
The SturmGrenadiere fight with a variety of weaponry ranging from the imported GAR-25K and GAR-25L (kinetic) rifles to the venerable Kpu-28 rift-pulse carbine and Gpu-45 rift-pulse rifle. Older HKG-37 are common as well. Adgu - Mobile troops. Used for scouting, flanking and screening. Uniform is a gray tunic with same colour trousers, black boots and a black belt, along with an M2012 Stahlhelm. Underneath this uniform a barrier suit is worn. Men are also issued gray-tinted FCNA breastplates, forearm guards and knee protectors to be worn over the uniform, in addition to dark red capes. Adgu travel lightly, with K-98x or Kpu-28 as their main weapon. The Yünak provides them with adequate transportation around the field of battle. K-98x - Battle rifle. 40mm grenade launcher; adjustable HUD for sniping and accurate aiming. Can link with Stahlhelm systems. Built in Phasic/Kinetic converter. 12, 24,36 round clip; semit, burst or fully automatic firing modes. |
SturmPioniere - Essentially combat engineers with emphasis on combat. Uniform is a gray tunic with same colour trousers, black boots and a black belt, along with an M2012 Stahlhelm. Underneath this uniform a barrier suit is worn. Men are also issued gray-tinted FCNA breastplates, forearm guards and knee protectors to be worn over the uniform.
The SturmPioniere are issued K-98x as their primary weapon, and thus are more than capable of holding their own in a fight. They excel in erecting vast field defenses in little time, and are quite often found operating right up with the Sturmgrenadiere. M2012 Stahlhelm - Projector array housed within the spike; protects from gas, radiation and chemical warfare as well. Array can also be equipped for night vision.
Helmet's HUD displays a variety of information; highlights hostile targets and has different detection methods - thermal, spatial displacement, passive audio and active audio to name a few. |
