Generation XV Vessels of the Imperial Nalydian Navy
These are the vessels of Generation XV. Generation XV has seen an exponential increase in the capabilities of the Natyl and Mylchar systems and rift fighting capabilities of the rift ships. Constants between vessels include rift space generators, Array Redirection Probe Banks, ENS shielding, Kinetic-Phasic Barriers, FTLi generators and dark speed reactors, as well as advanced communications arrays and the latest in Combined Projector Array technology.
Logistics & Support
Grazhnichonzheron Reactor Ship:
The reactor ship is a concept new to the VRZ, although not to the Pords in general, having come across multiple nations in the past whom have used similar types of vessels. Their effectiveness was married with Nalydian Projector Array technology and a twenty-three kilometer long hull, thus giving the Pords a vessel with extremely potent capabilities.
Grazhnichonzheron types have extremely thick armour and powerful Array systems, giving them very poor maneuvering and speed performance, even in comparison to many other Nalydian ships, which - despite their size - tend to be fairly nimble. For an offensive punch, the vessels of this type can use their Arrays (their systems are extremely advanced, considering their role), however beyond that they are defenseless, save for a number of tri-barreled RPDC mounts that adorn their hulls for point defense.
Kenzhelengrazhni Assault Transport:
Perhaps the most useful of the smaller Nalydian ships, Kenzhelengrazhni type assault transports, named for the Kenzhelengrazhni Guards, are a kilometer from stem to stern and bristle with defensive RPDC and PSKM mounts. They are more than capable of deploying hundreds of thousands of troops and their equipment, and are often found in the massive hangar bays of the larger warships of the High Hunter's Navy.
Grazhniarzhnüt Combat-Bulk Carriers:
Grazhniarzhnüt type combat-bulk carriers are ten kilometer long bulk carrier designed specifically to move large amounts of military goods to and from the front or between elements of a fleet. Often accompanying a dreadnought, it is not uncommon for Grazhniarzhnüt types to find themselves in the line of fire. Equipped with powerful thrusters and reactors, they are more than capable of keeping up with the rest of the battlefleet, and unlike reactor ships, whose systems are designed for supporting a heavier warships, the Grazhniarzhnüt is built with self-preservation in mind. Vessels of this type use tri-barreled RPDC mounts for defense.
Schalchnu Mobile Shipyards:
More mobile fortresses than shipyards, the massive Schalchnu mobile stations are a testament to Nalydian naval engineering. Large enough to service all of the VRZ's vessels and often equipped with their own complements of gravitic tugs and relay ships, Schalchnu are oft only seen when the VRZ wishes to extend a campaign to a realm which it deems much be destroyed entirely, and is willing to commit egregious amounts of time, effort and resources to do it.
Rekazhenchlümüch Gravitic Tug:
Rekazhenchlümüch type gravitic tugs can be found at nearly every Nalydian spaceport; their primary purpose is to help the larger vessels that ply the fabric with docking and maneuvering in tight and close-in areas, such as the sunken spaceport in Tnem-Fragg.
Chalerna Relay Ship:
With the advent of more active rift-fighting, the admirals of the VRZ needed a craft which could provide them accurate order relaying capabilities, FTLi and fabric stabilization and long distance communication and scanning. The result of their efforts was the Chalerna relay ship, a ten kilometer long logistics vessel that is more than capable to completing all of the tasks the Admirals were needing it to do. Like the shield vessels, the Chalerna types are equipped with tri-barreled RPDC and twin 500cm PSKM for defense.
Chorskaya Heavy Interdictor:
Chorskaya type heavy interdictor ships (12km) are built with one purpose in mind: boost FTLi in a given fleet to such levels that penetration becomes almost impossible. Because of this they are equipped with extremely advancd Natyl and Mylchar suites, but this comes at the price of protection; consequently, Chorskaya types tend to stay closer to their parent capital ship than other vessel types.
Hospital Ship(s):
The VRZ maintains a number of hospital ship types. These ships range from small, terrestrial sized ships to gargantuan system-level craft. Depending on the nature of a crisis, campaign, or movement, the VRZ will allocate a vessel best suited.

Capital Ships
Jlokhemit Natynozhskaya Dreadnought:
Ships of the Jlokhemit Natynozhskaya type are specialized division-level flagships. They are 2,250 kilometers in length from stem to stern and thus are well-equipped for the task. Their primary armament consists of quad 8,500cm PSKRs and three-gun 6,500cm PSKRs. In addition to these vessels of the type are home to an extensive array of 6,500cm ENS/RPDC, the largest ENS/RPDC mounts installed on Nalydian warships. As is standard on Pordish warships, craft have extensive PDS systems and are more than capable of defending themselves from swarms of incoming ordnance.
Protection can be found in four primary belts: an outer belt, twenty kilometers thick and uniform from bow to stern, a secondary belt, ranging from the bow to the engine nacelles, ten kilometers thick; a tertiary belt that protects the inner workings (ten kilometers thick), and a quaternary belt arranged to protect the core of the ship, stretching from bow to stern with a uniform thickness of five kilometers.

Grazhni Yamsai Dreadnought:
Largest standard dreadnought in service with the VRZ. Ships of the Grazhni Yamsai type sprawl for 315 kilometers from stem to stern and are equipped with hundreds of thousands of twin and three-gun 8,500cm PSKRs and 6,500cm PSKRs. Ships are also home to an impressive array of 4,500cm ENS/RPDC mounts and a myriad of missile types. Grazhni Yamsai types are generally outfitted for command are the vessels upon which formations are anchored.
Slow and plodding, Grazhni Yamsai are lauded for their three-belt protection scheme; it is said if two Grazhni Yamsai fought one another neither would score a killing blow. The primary belt stretches from the bow to the start of the primary thruster nacelle and is ten kilometers thick at its greatest extent, while at its thinnest it tapers down to a thickness of two kilometers. Secondary and tertiary belts, located within the ship, are both uniform five kilometers in thickness.

Chorzhalb Zhyssian Dreadnought:
Chorzhalb Zhyssian type dreadnoughts are the primary striking arm of the Nalydian dreadnought corps. Stretching for some 265 kilometers, they are vast and replete with a comprehensive panoply of 8,500cm and 6,500cm PSKRs and grand arrays of smaller tri-barreled 4,500cm ENS/RPDC. Ships are also built with bays for all the standard missile types of the VRZ.
Chorzhalb Zhyssian types are generally regarded within the VRZ as "good rift boats" as they exhibit pleasant performance and handling while sailing within the rift. The reactors on board Zhyssian types allow for rapid acceleration and powerful maneuvering suites contribute to the type's relatively tight tactical turn radius.
Zhyssians tend to boast some of the more extensive of the armour belts, save for the extensive protection of the Grazhni Yamsai types. The primary belt is composite in structure, built beneath the LNS outer skin. It is some five kilometers thick at its greatest extent and tapers out to a less protective single kilometer over certain portions. The secondary armour belt, located within the ship running bow to stern, is a uniform four and a half kilometers thick and protects all of the vital heavier equipment. There are numerous thinner, less significant belts throughout the ship in addition to extensive compartmentalization.

Kornat Hanüch Battlecruiser:
The grand namesakes of the head of the Great House of Zhyso, Kornat Hanüch type battlecruisers are the heavy hitting fast go-to vessels of the VRZ. Fast, maneuverable - yet more than capable of holding their own against hordes of smaller warships and equally proficient at standing toe-to-toe with vessels in their same weight class - Kornat Hanüchs are the epitome of Nalydian battlecruiser design.
Vessels of the Hanüch class are equipped with a mixture of twin and three-gun 6,500cm PSKRs and 4,500cm tri-barreled ENS/RPDC. As per standard Nalydian vessel configuration they are also equipped with standard point defense and missile complements.
Two main armour belts best utilize the 108 kilometer long frame of Hanüch types. The outer belt is two kilometers at its greatest extent while the secondary interior belt reaches eight hundred meters in thickness maximum.

nam-Cholkük Battlecruiser:
nam-Cholkük type battlecruisers are named for High Hunter Cholkük. Like their larger brethren, they carry a mixture of PSKRs (6,500cm) and tri-barreled ENS/RPDCs (4,500cm). In addition to this weapon complement they carry missile bays for all the VRZ missile types and are built with standard point defense suites. Cholküks are a respectable 85 kilometers in length.
Like all battlecruisers, nam-Cholküks forgo the armour of proper dreadnoughts for increased maneuverability and speed. As the smallest of the vessels that make up the primary Nalydian battleline, nam-Cholküks are able to utilize their abilities to much greater effect than their larger cousins as their locations outside of the primary vessel groupings afford them a gracious amount of room within which to maneuver.
The primary belt for nam-Cholkük type battlecruisers is a kilometer thick at its greatest extent with a secondary belt five hundred meters thick deeper within the ship protecting the vital machinery and equipment of the vessel-bowels.

Tactical Vessels
nam-Kyzhaq Monitor:
nam-Kyzhaq type monitors mark the return of very large kinetic batteries on Nalydian warships. As a monitor, the purpose of the vessel is to serve as a platform from which formation-rending fire can be unleashed upon a hostile armada. To achieve this, nam-Kyzhaq types are armed with dozens of two-gun 2,500m PSKR - massive artillery cannons capable of hurling ten kilometer long shells at a pace below light speed or an assortment of other ordinance types, such as shrapnel or canister-shot. Other weapons include standard missile and point defense complements and numbers of tri-barreled ENS/RPDCs.
To complement their 250 kilometer long frames, nam-Kyzhaq types can boast of an impressively thick outer hull - twenty kilometers at their thickest tapering off to a respectable five kilometers, with a secondary ten kilometer thick belt inside protecting the inner vital machinery. Because of their armour nam-Kyzhaqs tend to plod, however they are still capable of making good steam.
